Choosing the right preschool is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your child. We invite you to visit our classrooms, meet our teachers, and experience the difference that an authentic Montessori environment makes. Enrollment for the 2026–2027 academic year is now open. Spaces are limited to ensure small class sizes and personalized attention.

Submit an Application Form

Complete our registration form to officially express your interest. We will review your application and contact you to discuss next steps, including availability in your child's age group.

Meet with our admissions coordinator​

We will schedule a meeting to discuss your child's needs, answer your questions, and ensure mutual understanding of our Montessori approach. This conversation helps us prepare for your child's transition.

Step 4

Confirm your child’s placement and start date

Once accepted, you will receive enrollment documents to complete. This includes health forms, emergency contacts, and program agreements. We will work with you to plan a smooth start date.

Begin Your Montessori Journey

Your child joins our community! We support a gentle transition with orientation visits, open communication, and ongoing partnership with your family throughout your child's time with us.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition is billed monthly at government-regulated flat parent fees. The Alberta Child Care Affordability Grant is applied automatically to eligible programs.

Where is Conifers Montessori Academy located?

We are located at 70 Saddlepeace Mnr NE Unit#105, Calgary, AB T3J 5V5, in the Saddle Ridge community of NE Calgary. We proudly serve families across Saddle Ridge, Skyview Ranch, Cityscape, Redstone, Cornerstone, Savanna, Martindale, Taradale and surrounding NE Calgary neighbourhoods, as well as nearby Airdrie and Chestermere.

What ages do you accept?

We welcome children from 19 months to 6 years of age, up until they enter Grade 1. Our Junior (Toddler) Program serves ages 19 months to 3 years, and our Casa Program serves ages 2.5 to 6 years, including kindergarten.

How much is tuition?

Tuition is billed monthly at government-regulated flat parent fees, with the Alberta Child Care Affordability Grant applied automatically to eligible programs. Full-time care (100+ hours per month) is $326.25 per month, and part-time care (50–99 hours per month) is $230.00 per month.

What does the daily schedule look like?

Our doors open at 7:00 AM and the Montessori work session begins at 8:30 AM, with the day continuing through to 6:00 PM. The day balances long, uninterrupted work cycles with group time, outdoor play, and snacks.

Do I need to take a tour before enrolling?

Yes. Before enrollment, we ask families to complete a campus tour so you can review the curriculum, class sizes, and program expectations, and make sure Conifers is the right fit for your child.

Are you a licensed child care program?

Yes. Conifers Montessori Academy is a licensed Alberta early learning and child care program, and our classrooms are led by certified Montessori educators.

Do you accept the Alberta Child Care Subsidy or affordability grant?

Yes. We accept the Alberta Child Care Subsidy and affordability grant funding to help make high-quality Montessori care affordable for eligible families. Contact us and we'll be glad to walk you through how it works.

What about lunch, snacks, and allergies?

Families send their child with their own lunch each day, and we provide healthy snacks. For the safety of every child, we are a strict nut-free facility — please do not send any food containing nuts.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on weekends. Schedule a tour and we'll be happy to discuss program schedules that fit your family's needs.

When can my child start?

We accept enrollments throughout the year, subject to availability. The best time to start is when your family is ready and a space is available in your child's age group. Spaces are limited to keep our class sizes small.

Do I need Montessori experience?

Not at all! We welcome families new to Montessori and provide orientation and ongoing education to help you understand and support your child's Montessori journey at home.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Potty training requirements vary by program. Our Junior Program welcomes children who are not yet potty trained, and we work with families to support this developmental milestone at the right time for each child.

What should I bring to a tour?

Just bring your curiosity and any questions you have! A tour is your chance to observe our classrooms, meet our educators, and picture your child in our community.
